Puresha (PUR-EE-SHA) is a beautiful space for you to discover cult natural & organic brands that you won't find on every street corner. We always offer something different and we pride ourselves on our ability to seek out the most interesting and unique products from around the globe that deliver all the benefits of your typical beauty regime, but without nasty chemicals.

Why do we love Natural?

To us, beauty is more than the sum of the nice smelling gloop, in the beautiful jar that you put on your skin everyday. It’s part of a positive ritual that gives you that little boost of confidence and feel-good/look-good factor. We think it makes sense, that the lotions and potions that we apply everyday to look after ourselves, should enhance our well being rather than over-load our systems with even more hormones and harsh chemicals.

That’s why we are committed to a healthier and natural approach to beauty and bring together the best of natural and organic – from cult classics to new, niche and quirky. Each of the brands we work with has a common goal – to create beautiful, exciting and luxury beauty products that are inspired by an ethical passion to change the face of beauty.

We’re not over-the-top tree huggers, and we don’t believe in conforming to extremes. But we do give off a little extra glow knowing that what we slather on our skin is actually good for us, our babies and the planet.

Everyone has different requirements, so we provide all ingredient listings and categorise all products by Ethics to help you find the right product for you. We're always on hand to help you should you need help to find a product that's right for you.

What you won't find in our products:

The definitions of natural & organic are continually debated in the world of beauty, so in the face of confusion, we decided to create our own guidelines that meet our own personal criteria of well being:

No parabens, no sls, no synthetic colours, petroleum derivatives, sodium lauryl sulphate, formaldehyde or pthalates and other harsh chemicals. No animal testing. No ugly packaging that you need to hide away in a cupboard. No companies who pretend their products are 'natural' or 'organic'.

Bye, bye Birkenstocks ...

Don't get us wrong, we love a bit of comfy footwear, but when it comes to making ourselves feel sexy or empowered or gorgeous with our beauty ritual, we want something that is sophisticated, looks gorgeous and works. We would rather work with a brand that is obsessed with creating the right product, with the right results, than with a brand obsessed with creating ‘pure’ products just for the sake of their ingredients. That's why we're not ashamed to unearth cool, cult brands from overseas - we offset the carbon of all of our transportation and one day, when we're big and famous, we will look to sea-freight when possible.

Our bit

It may be small, be we know it's not meaningless, so we try to be as mindful as possible to the impact we have on the environment. Here's what 'our bit' looks like at the mo:

3. Use eco-fill biodegradable fillers in packages
4. Work, wherever possible, with brands who produce ethically
5. Offset carbon
