Duchess Marden

The Duchess Marden Travel Spa set arrived beautifully wrapped in tissue paper. The travel set consisted of a foaming cleanser, pure rose water, face crème, anti wrinkle serum and neck and décolleté serum packaged together in a re-useable velvety bag. There was a useful booklet in the bag which gave you advice on how to use the products and how often to use them along with all the ingredients used along with their origins. The products all smelt gorgeous and the fragrance of rose was very long lasting, The foaming cleanser foamed really easily and you didn’t need to use a lot to get a good foam. The pump action spray of the rose water was a good idea although I quickly discovered it was far easier to spray it onto a cotton wool pad then wipe it onto my face rather than to spray it directly on my face as it had a tendancy to run straight down my cheek before I had the chance to pat it in. The face crème absorbed into my skin easily and left it feeling moisturized all day, even when I was outside in the wind. I found the anti wrinkle serum left the skin under my eyes looking shiny and greasy so I only used it at night. The label on the bag said there was one months supply but I would say that there was a lot more than a months supply in the anti wrinkle serum as even though I have only been using it at night the bottle is still almost full. On the other hand I didn’t think there was enough in the neck and décolleté serum as I have less than a third left and I have only been using it for just over a week. My skin feels a lot smoother since I started using the products and because they smell so nice they feel like a real treat for my skin. The bottles are very attractive and a very good size for traveling. I will definitely continue to use these products as I feel my skin is looking much better and I would definitely recommend them. - Cath Joyce
